For Further Reading
In a world of constant connection, limited time, and unlimited information, sometimes it’s hard to find new ideas, analysis, and case studies about the field of digital politics and advocacy.
Many of our CampaignTech speakers spend their evenings, weekends, and the occasional lunch analyzing the latest tools, tactics, and techniques on their blog.
To name just a few:
- Iowa native Claire Celsi (@clairecelsi), who writes about practical communications and public affairs tactics on her blog Public Relations Princess. Celsi’s experiences in local politics informs her perspective as a communications expert.
- Long-time digital advocacy guru Colin Delany (@epolitics), whose blog ePolitics has been a favorite of mine for years. Delany discusses insider tools and tactics in a tone that is easy for the non-digital elite to understand, and he often invites his friends, like fellow CampaignTech speaker Beth Becker (@spedwybabs), to post with him.
- Wesley Donehue (@wesleydonehue), whose webcast Pub Politics dishes out bipartisan debate and discussion about politics and policy in South Carolina.
- Publicyte, where Mark Drapeau (@cheeky_geeky) curates articles, interviews, and ideas about innovation in the public sector and civic life from across the country.
- Catherine Geanuracos @geanuracos), whose writing intersects pop culture, non profit innovation, and advocacy on her company blog, New Economy Campaigns.
This is by no means an exhaustive list -- particularly at a conference in which almost every speaker writes, edits, curates, and interacts with ideas online! If you like what you read, then I invite you to register for CampaignTech now and discuss some of these blogs with their writers in November.
